 Robert Greene

Robert moved to the Richmond area in 2000 in order to convince a particular young lady to marry him. He succeed in that but was less successful in getting Erin to leave her native Richmond. He soon learned that God had particular plans for them in Richmond. After working for a local church for 6 years, with much prayer and guidance, they felt God’s call to plant a church in the historic Northside of Richmond, Virginia. Redemption Hill Church began in January 2008 with a small group of people, and has seen healthy gospel growth over the last 7 years. Robert has the privilege of coaching and mentoring pastors and church planters throughout the Mid-Atlantic through the Acts29 Network.



Akira Mori

Akira Mori is the Senior Pastor at Global Mission Chapel in Iwaki City.

He has been traveling all over the world since he was in his twenties.  So he is rather an unusual Japanese pastor. He has perfect command of three languages: Japanese, English and Norwegian.
His messages from the Word bring healing to many, and many gladly receive counseling from him.  And with all of that, he has a free and relaxed manner as a pastor.



Makoto Fukuda

After graduating from the Niigata University, Makoto went on to study at the Tokyo Christian Theological Seminary before serving at the Yamanoue Church of the Japan Presbyterian Mission for eighteen years. He believed he would settle and always live in Yokohama but moved to Tokyo in 2008 to start a church planting ministry supported by Redeemer City to City.

The Grace city Church Tokyo was launched in 2010 and in 2013 the Grace Church Planting Network was formed.  Though he was born and raised in the countryside of Tochigi Prefecture, it is amazing that God has planted him in the city of Tokyo to be actively involved in recruiting, training, training, encouraging and coaching church planters through the Grace Church Planting network.

Married to Michiru with three sons, one daughter and three grandchildren.


Carlton Walker

Carlton is a Southern Baptist missionary who has been in Japan with his wife Cornelia since 1982 and have raised two sons on the mission field.  Like most missionaries, Carlton has worn many hats over the years – language student, old-school church planter, church leadership development consultant, college teacher, team leader and currently prayer advocate for Japan, East Asia Peoples Affinity Group, IMB. His passion is prayer and new wineskin church planting in the business community.



Seita Sakaguchi – Worship Leader

After serving as a pastor at Sovereign Grace Church (Fairfax, Virginia USA) for several years, Seita and his wife Emma with their four children were sent by the church to Tokyo in 2014 to be involved in church planting. They are planting a new church in Toyosu called Toyosu Community Church.
